The Dynomometer, often refered to as "dyno" is a test performed on an engine to measure its power output. The dyno is connected to the drive shaft (i.e. the propeller end) and gives a pressure reading which we convert to horsepower. This allows us to test, tune and diagnose engines up to 300HP without time consuming sea trials.
